Cook Island Week Infomation Report

 This week I started off with reading I watched and learnt how to make a tivaevae quilt and pillow .

A tivaevae are made before a special occasion because it may take a month a couple of days or a year! People of the Cook Island were a tivaevae quilt on a special occasion such as , birthdays , weddings and hair cutting ceremony.

  • Humpback whales can live for 80 to 90 years.
  • Humpback whales have some of the longest migrations of any mammal with some populations swimming 5,000 miles (8,047 km) between breeding and feeding grounds.

Cook Island Doughnuts are made out of :

- 3x cups of flour                                      - 4x of fresh cream 

- 1x cup of wholemeal flour                     - 1x of Oil 

- Pinch of salt                                           - 2x Tbsp of yeast

- 4x Tbsp of Sugar                                    - 1x of vanilla essence

-  21 / 2 cups of Milk                                - 4 eggs

Fry in oil for cooking .
